I’ve owned my Digitone since 2019 and use it regularly as part of composition and live performances but tonight I’ve turned it on and more than half of the pads are non responsive.
Has anyone had this issue before?
When I hold FUNC and select 1. TEST - I only get test results from Trigs 8, 11, 12, 14, 15…
Pretty gutted to say the least. What are my options here??
Contact Elektron for repair?
I would open the box and unplug then re-plug the flat cables you can find.
Carefully remove the knobs with e.g. guitar picks (or the ones you can find in a phone repair kit).
Unscrew the faceplate, and see the guts.
If LD’s suggestion doesn’t work, you will probably need to order a replacement upper (user interface) pre-assembled PCB from elektron to install in place of the faulty one. What you’re describing is a hardware issue, that’s why test mode doesn’t see those trigs.
