Digitone OG volume vs envelope weird relation?

I’ve recently dug my OG DN and noticed something weird with the volume level of a patch: it seems that the behavior is different from other Elektron I own, for example the ST.

It seems to me that in some cases, the amp volume affects the envelope behavior, not sure how to explain this but raising the volume above 100 for example seems to “compress” the envelope (ie affect the volume a bit like a compressor): on a HH with short decay, raising the volume make the HH decay longer like if it went through a compressor, and lowering the volume makes it more snappy, as if the peak volume was kept the same but the dynamic range was extended. Track volume on the other hand, does not change the envelope behavior and works just like the amp volume on the ST.

TL;DR: I found that in some cases, and this is particularly audible on HH with short decay and a bit of overdrive, if you change the amp volume of a sound it changes the amp envelope behavior. Changing the track volume does not do this.

I could not find anything in the manual or other threads talking about this, have others noticed this? Is this a bug of intended behavior?

I’m on 1.42A.

The master overdrive acts like a limiter when active (just above 0 is enough) – Maybe this is what you observe?

Oh I didn’t know that!

No master OD was used., but I found the reason, it was dumb: LFO was set with an exp ramp with +127 volume mod, and I forgot about it  so yeah what I heard made sense, it was my fault though!
