Have a fast dedicated Volume Knob when auditioning Presets.
Some Presets can kill eardrums and also would be useful when auditioning samples in context which could be a low level mixed Project for some reason would be one example.
Be able to store this Level for the Preset on the spot so it is its Default Volume.
Transient machine but not drum based. Small transient samples , for piano/guitar sounds etc like found on old Yamaha/casio keyboards. (See Yamaha pss a50 for reference)
Inspired by @Jeanneās CoreVault and VintageVault packs, Iāve come back to the DN2 with fresh eyes/ears. The synthesis is great and varied but Iām now feeling that the 3 send effects (chorus, delay and reverb) are getting tired and contributing to the sameness of the sound.
What I would like to see is FX Machines. A choice of different reverbs (start with possibly porting the Tonverkās Rumsklang and Steel Box models), delays (good tape, BBD and multitap models) and mod fx (phaser, flanger etc.).
As someone that makes extensive use of reverbs and delays in achieving the textures and ambience I like, it feels like these same fx from the A4 days are holding back the full possibilities of the DN2.
Yep. Put them where the āBit reductionā is, let each track have a selectable effect (fourth page on the FX editing pages is specific to the current track - lets you choose/adjust an effect).
Yeah, and please the Analog Four/MnM Chorus. That and something Clouds-like would be nice (so itās not always Delay). And also the possibility to use an effect multiple times, e.g. three times reverb or two times delay and one phaser ā¦
