Digitone II Feature Requests

Yeah that’s what I’m referring to! Using the trigs to access banks of presets, give it a try!

yep you can but it’s a very awkward key combo since you need to hold BANK which is FUNC+PTN+TRIG (I think?) to choose a preset bank. Much easier to use the encoder clicks.

well you got the plocks on top of thats and the sound locks too, but yes more flexibility is never a bad thing

Multiple LFO destinations (with a modulation amount for each) is another alternative. And LFOs do have, kind of, mini-envelopes via the single-cycle options, right ?

(Actually, DT2 owner here, maybe it’s not the same on DN2)

Yes, on DNII too ONE and HALF are two Trig Modes that make an LFO act as an envelope.

In the same way we can choose which filter we want to use, it would be great to have a choice of reverbs and delays. Yes, the current pristine reverb is fine, but it also would be nice to have a spring type reverb or a choice of reverbs with a a different type of character.

thank you!

did not know this, thank you! I like that there’s more than one way to achieve this and that both allow you to continue to use the trig keys to play notes to hear presets. pressing encoders is hard to beat for its simplicity.

Overdub Note Paste

Note Edit shows how the Digitone elegantly handles polyphony with microtiming and velocity. Based on this handling, seems that it should be possible to copy notes from one track’s note sequence and paste it onto another so that it has notes from both. Maybe this could be performed by holding the stop button a little longer (like a “Super Paste” a la Monomachine’s “Super Copy”).

Digitone II Beast Mode:

  • One-shot sample playback
  • Transpose sequence with keyboard
  • Print/record arp to sequence
  • Midi arp

-Midi arp please
-Record arp to sequence

Honestly I don´t know why this is not there since DN1, even more why is not there since the release of DN2.

This !!

Also, after a few months, still longing for more wavetables, i feel the engine is a bit underwhelming compared to the drum and classic ones.

CC control over probability (PROB TRIG parameter)

I’d find this useful and was surprised not to find it when I went looking for it.

Pre-cancel a parameter tweak

I love the ability to hold undo before turning a knob on the model:cycles and as soon as you let go of undo it reverts the parameter to it’s original value instantly

Sometimes you don’t want to reload the entire pattern or track, maybe you’ve made some other adjustments you don’t want to lose or save yet, great live feature

Could be implemented using NO instead of UNDO: hold NO, turn knob, let go of NO

I like this idea

we have the feature where you can swap tracks, Id like to see a swap pages feature (unless you already can and I’m missing something)

And swap patterns !

A way to “print” transpose settings for tracks or patterns?

Instant Pattern Change

Like on the EP-133 KO II or legato mode enabled session view clips in Abletons

Change patterns immediately at the same point in time in the sequence

Would be nice if the ARP didn’t stall when you change the notes in note edit and smoothly transitioned into the new combination at the next pass.
