Hi guys. I’m recording knob tweaks (as midi cc messages) from Digitone into LK Matrix (I’m moving track 1 filter cutoff which is cc23). I noticed it’s also sending out wild oscillation on cc55 and recording that into LK as well whenever I move the filter cutoff knob. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is this normal or some kind of bug?
Because apparently it transmits both most significant bit and least significant bit according to the midi implementation chart in the manual, probably for more finite control over the filter resolution.
What is MSB and LSB? (morningstar.io)
It looks like this is the expected behavior, you might require midi filtering to disable it but I’m not sure about that part, just that it looks normal.

I assume this is an ipad? Never tried it personally but I found this MIDI Scope app for you in the app store which can monitor midi messages and has filtering features so basically that means you could tell it to reject cc55 and that’s one way to get yourself sorted if you want to try it out.
