Digitone Audio Inputs less useful than A4

Just checked the manual and it seems the Digitone inputs are less programmable than the A4, where you could choose wether input L or R could go directly in or send to the effects individually. With digitone, you can centre pan L & R inputs and have different synths or instruments on each input. But both have to go to the fx at the same time?

I was hoping to send one mono channel from Nord Drum with a Kick and snare for example then send some percussion to the other channel and add some reverb to the percussion. Is that possible at all?

Not on the DN.

It’s best to either use it as a stereo input for FX/OB or 2 mono inputs for OB

Ok cheers. But you can centre pan the L & R inputs and use as separate channels? Only the effects are either on/off for both simultaneously?

Yeah, you could bring two different signals in and center pan them. However, the signals are summed to mono before going to the send FX (chorus, delay, reverb), so that could cause some issues. I just happened to be reading the manual today, looking for this info! The overdrive is applied at the end of the mix, so that would work as normal.
