Hi! I recently bought an Alpha Base mk2. Since the internal sequencer is not that great, I figured I would try sequencing it with the Digitone. I set up the midi tracks, midi ccs and everything. However when I’m trying to set the sample tuning of the AB - let’s say a ride sample on the ride track of AB- on the Digitone it doesn’t line up with AB’s tuning. On the AB the default sample tuning is 55, and when i set to 55 on Digitone it’s not the same, it sounds like it’s pitched down like -20 or something. Also I had some problems with the tempo sync after I updated the AB to the latest firmware, it was lagging like 160 ms. I did a factory reset and it became better, but when I tried sequencing it with the Digitone, 3 of the sample channels became distorted. After disconnecting it’s the same. Has anyone experienced stuff like this?
Sounds like a problem with the AB2.
A quick google search shows a lot of people experiencing this.
A lot of them are saying MIDI sync is broken in the new firmware.

See page 118 in the manual. Are you addressing channel 16 or addressing channels 1-11 individually?
Changing the tuning changes the sample pitch. +7 and -7 are an octave if I remember correctly.
The lowest note in the midi is C1 so I would leave the sample tuning at its default value and try sequencing C1, C2, C3 etc. from the digitone until the sample sounds the same pitch as it does when you hit the channel button on the alpha base.
