Hey, thanks for listening! I know it was wavetone, but other than that it’s been so long I don’t remember many specifics. Pretty sure the drift parameter was pretty high. Probably detuned saw/squarish blend and phase distortion modulation from the lfos and a little noise added. That sound was played manually as an overdub.

It definitely sounds like there is some kind of phase modulation going on, and detune for sure but the rest I have no idea.
There are some tracks on the AE NTS Sessions and Exai that feature a similar wonderfully emotive sound.
I’ve never stumbled across anything like that so I had to ask.

here ya go. there isn’t any phase distortion that I thought was there. seems like most of the character of the sound is from using a random lfo on filter type and filter freq

I don’t own a Digitone myself but from what I’ve gathered by using my bandmate’s mk1 it’s just a question of time I will get the mk2, likely in 2027 though as I will do my best not to buy any gear this year.

Don’t know why it took me so much time to use overbridge like an instrument. The hybrid workflow is definitely where it’s at.
Here there’s two DN2 tracks with some randomized parameters in Bitwig via overbridge, the sounds are only coming from the DN2 :

Nice one! Sounds much older than the Digitone (in the best way).
Playing the Digitone here. Some voice stealing, some mistakes on my part also. Inflator and Barricade on master, the rest is all DN.
