I want to bring up and old old beast that no one has mentioned yet.

The Waldorf Rack Attack! There are a couple for sale on evilBay right now.

If you want the software version pick up the Waldorf Attack VSTi - not sure if it’s still out there for sale but it can be found…

I’m sure that the other suggestion of the Nord Drum 2 will suffice given the availability.

Yeah that one on here yesterday went in about 10 minutes. You rarely see the 2.

While not strictly speaking “digital” I have an analog 4 project that is entirely full of drum and percussion sounds. It makes an excellent drum machine I find.
