I want to resample my DT2 through some pedals and then through my Bastl Bestie to add some character. I’m struggling to find a workflow that allows me to hear what I’m sampling whilst avoiding feedback. Could somebody point me in the right direction on how to plumb all this together? Cheers
You can do this if you send some tracks out of the usb instead and bring them back in

Maybe possible with USB but not possible with physical outputs : what you hear is sent via headphones and L/R OUT
You can disable IN LR in AUDIO ROUTING > TO MAIN and sample inputs without feedback but without input monitoring.
→ External mixer for monitoring.

Is one of those pedals a looper? I do this with my with my OGDT and Boss looper. Good for layering sounds too. Record the digitakt to the looper, add fx then resample.

I do have a boss rc 505 in the cupboard. So the workflow would be to record a loop in the rc505 and then pass that through the pedals in to the digitakt?

Nice one, yea that would work. I use it’s little bother the rc202. It’s horrible as a slave so I suggest setting it up as master when syncing the midi clock to the DT.

Argh, still fighting with this and struggling to get monitoring. So my setup is:
DT > RC505 > pedals > Bastl Bestie > DT
The goal is to compose on the DT but add some flavour to my samples and loops via the pedals and Bestie and then sample back in to the DT. Essentially I just want to create a bit of a sound library and then put the looper and FX away and just work on DT.
I work on headphones and so I have them in the DT. The problem is that level on DT controls both headphone and main out, so the level going in to the looper is too low. Maybe I’m being stupid and not seeing the wood for the trees here…
I’m not sure, could be a number of things. Are the input levels on the mixer page of your rc505 loud enough?

I do this on my DT1, but you have to wait OB release for DT2.
In the audio routing I remove tracks to being send to the main out, then I use a software like VSTHost on windows to get audio from USB. I add fx plugin then send the audio back to usb. In DT I sample from USB (with monitor on to hear something) and I get back the wet signal.
Don’t forget to put back routing to main out then to continue working.
