Digitakt Overbridge Recording Question

Hey guys. I have a quick question if someone wouldn’t make helping me out regarding recording Digitakt into Ableton using Overbridge.

Let’s say I multi-tracked all 8 tracks of Digitakt audio into my daw. Is there anyway that I can loop what I just recorded via Ableton - clear out my samples on the DT and create new patterns WHILE listening (and in sync) to the loop playing from my daw? And then multi-track ANOTHER 8 tracks into the daw, giving me a total of 16 tracks - then repeat?

Thanks in advance <3

yes, you can technically do anything in ableton with tracking.
you could take all 8 tracks and route them to another single track (9?) and then start 10-17

but I’m not sure about listening and in sync, maybe you can expand on this requirement, i.e. is this a live performance or you just want to Jam to your first loop? etc…

the way I tend to work is to resample the Digitakt into itself, so if I have an 8 track loop, I sample it than assign it to track 8 then I can add 7 more tracks all inside the Digitakt.
