That kind of changed things, actually so you’re going for the stereo mix only when you go to master?

I’m considering the same route, as per another topic I just launched here on Nauts -

Is no multiple outs from your gear, a show stopper?

I usually only use stereo outs during the creative sessions and coming up with ideas, all DAWless. This is for my own protection because otherwise I will immediately start mixing and playing with efx and so on within the DAW. Once I have a nice tune ready to go I switch to Overbridge and record every track separately and also use the DAW EFX most of the time. That also gives me the possibility to switch a sound later, like I used a BD that I did not like anymore when I mixed a song so I exchange…

… since the convenience of such a streamlined process is starting to appeal to me.

With the new Digitakt features, I’m starting to wonder, if the source material is fine, maybe the Takt is all I need before I plug it into mastering gear, working with its stereo outs only.
