I am new to this forum and to Elektron gear in general, Ive just bought the Digitakt + Heat.
Super happy with it!
I have a question though,
When I switch between the different sampler tracks, when I choose the track it plays the sample in it, like a one shot thing. how can i remove this ?
when recording patterns live it adds a “hit” everytime i switch between the channels.
Im sure there is a way, just didn’t discover it yet.

By sampler tracks , do you mean an the audio tracks (1-8)?
So I’m clear-
When you use track 1 for instance, it just plays the kick drum? And you’d like it to play another sample?
If that’s the case then-src - (right hand corner) SAMP - then scroll through.
You can also press func and level/data to access other samples.
If you want your own samoles-
Direct-(record sample) - save-name- allocate to track.
Hold TRK button when selecting a track.
Ahh that’s what he/she meant. I have as hoping it was something else, as what I thought it was, is pretty obvious!
