Also missing the SOLO function of the AR. If you are in mute mode and press Func+Track(s) it soloes that track(s)
Very Helpful. Thanks
Something to remember, though.
Digitakt remembers the last used version of MUTE mode and will access this one
first when you press [FUNC] + [TRK]. This also applies to QUICK MUTE. However, after reboot, it always defaults back to GLOBAL MUTE mode.
However, after reboot, it always defaults back to GLOBAL MUTE mode. WHY???
This is not convenient for Live acts.
Yes it should save the desired starting mute condition please.
One more thought:
I nearly always use my DT & DK 2 in Pattern Mode mode. In the way that the purple mute trigs stay lit. Mutes can be changed only using a [TRIG] key.
When I change to Grid Recodring Mode [REC] and exit it again with [REC], the Pattern Mute Mode is set in a way I need to press [FUNC] + [TRIG] to change mutes. That is really inconvenient.
Especially for live interventions it would be absolutely necessary, that Grid Recording Mode can be entered for short and the user can return to the last set Mute Mode.
Anybody has a solution for this?
A feature request for ‘save/sticky mute mode’ user option / tick box that doesn’t revert back to normal mutes when going into any record mode … it’d stay in whatever mute mode it was in before.
Persistent mutes made it to the DT2/DN2 recently, so hopefully the OG units will get an update with some little QOL upgrades like this too.
Thanks for nailing it down so exactly.
Still, the request I posted is not yet implemented in DT2/DN2, even with the latest OS where the persistent mutes are indeed available.
