Digitakt-Midi randomisation

Hey Guys, i had the idea, that i could randomise note Values of my Minilogue via the Digitakt. I tryed it with an lfo but that didnt work… maybe you´ve got some ideas. Cheers

Could you use an LFO to control the CC levels for the OSC tune?!

i tried cc but theres only 8 values and nothing is effecting anything…

Have you checked that you’re sending on the same channel as the Korg is receiving at?
I sometimes forget to actually activate the midi channel on a DT midi track.

Nope, i use the Digi as sequencer

Check the midi implementation of your Minilogue. Use the CC for osc tuning and send a random lfo in hold mode from your DT to Minilogue. Each step, the Minilogue will receive a different random value for osc tuning.

Midi Implementation

VCO1 pitch is CC34 and VCO2 pitch is CC35.

VCO1 octave is CC48 and VCO2 octave is CC49.
The octaves are at these values 16’=0, 8’=42, 4’=84 and 2’=127

For example, if you send CC49 value 42 it will set VCO2 to 8’.

Are you using the latest DT OS 1.20A ?
there was a bug (fixed now) with midi LFOs that meant they didn’t work properly.
