I’m not versed in midi at all but I was hoping I could use it to help solve a problem of mine. Right now when I want to use the “cntrl all” function of the digitakt I have to hold the track button and modulate the knob. This means I cant be doing other things at the same time.
I connected my Digitakt midi in to my Bass Station 2 and changed all the channels to 1 in hopes that I could change the parameter across all channels. Unfortunately when that happens all the tracks go to the exact same position. Example is if I want to “cntrl all” the tracks samples and i change track 1 to sample 5 the rest of the tracks go to channel 5 as well.
Is there a proper way to go about making my dream a reality? I was looking at the unreleased BASTL midi Looper as a possible pairing but am worried that if I want to have all the tracks on the Digitakt change (ex. change all the track samples simultaneously) they will all end up in the same position (on the same sample).
Any information on helping explain this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
