Digitakt metronome loses sync when changing step length

Hey all,

Experiencing an issue with my wife’s digitakt that is turning more and more into a workflow frustration for her, so i’d love to sort this out.

When changing the step length of a pattern, the click loses sync with the metronome lights, quite noticeably. This results in full projects timing to become shifted out of place as well. The only way to correct it is a power cycle.

This happens about 30% of the time when adjusting step length with the metronome turned on.
This is while running the latest OS. Any insight would be great, thanks.

I’m pretty certain that I’ve experienced the same issue. It’s when you’re adding a new page to the length of the pattern, right?

Yes, that is correct.

Glad you posted this, I thought I was crazy haha.
I think that generally the best thing to do is put in a service ticket to elektron. They’ll probably ask you to send in a video of the issue happening

For now just have all the pages you need open, and change how many steps play per sequence.

yep that happens , you need to stop and play again to sort it out.

Unfortunately that doesn’t change anything. Only power cycling corrects it.

I think Saka’s solution will be extra handy though.

Hmm like @Silenus said-- for me I just have to stop and start play again. Pausing doesn’t fix but a full stop does
