Digitakt Max4Live Device - song mode, control all track and FX parameters

I made this, maybe as useful for others as for me. Essentially it integrates into Ableton Live and you can build songs via pattern change messages while simultaneously use as many LFO’s as you want on track parameters, control mutes and so on.

Basic feature list:

  • mute mode
  • control all the track parameters
  • control all FX parameters (delay, reverb)
  • pattern change message based on bank and pattern
  • init and random functions for each section

There is a free and a “pro” version, latter contains all track parameters, the free version has limited functionality but still very useful.

Find it here:

Let me know if you find bugs etc. I worked a lot on it but since they keep changing the OS it’s hard to take care of everything.

Tested with:

Digitakt Os 1.05
Ableton 9.7
Max4Live 7.3.5

Cheers

You have successfully hijacked my evening. Can’t wait to try this out! Nice work.

Just had a very quick test of the free versions before i head out for the evening - seem like cool devices! There’s a typo on the FX_free device though - says Hight Pass, not High Pass

nice one just purchased i’ll try out tonight :ok_hand:

can you do the same for digitone?

Actually I can. However I don’t own the Digitone, but the MIDI implementation is supposed to be in the manual. I will try and open a thread about it so people can test it.

Bumping this. Let me know if you have issues.

cheers, gonna give it a go

Looks cool. Could you provide more details on the pro-exclusive features? Can’t see much detail in the links. Thanks.

Sure:

So basically the “pro” version lets you control all of the track parameters including Filter, LFO, trig etc. Check the picture on the gumroad page. Fun thing is you can use then multiple LFO’s for each parameter to create super complex things

Thanks for the buys/downloads so far. Got some nice responses. Obviously I hope Overbridge gets released soon but until then this is quite useful if you have Ableton anyway

Will try this, got a live gig in october and need song mode desperately, I was about to buy a looper pedal
