Digitakt LFO Retrigger Problem

Ive tried everything - sorry if this is basic. ive tried searching bu t not come up with anything.

How do i get a one bar LFO to retrigger the LFO cycle at the start of the bar? It’s driving me mad. If I stop the sequence and restart, the LFO starts half way through the cycle.

I have a sawtooth, the phase is in 127 so it starts at the highest point dropping to the lowest. Over 16 notes its goes through one cycle, adjusting the pitch of some slices, but it seems to lose

Is there a way to ensure the LFO starts cycling on the first beat?

Do you have a trig plocked and set to retrigger?

try this:
Speed 16
mult BPM 8
phase 0
mode free (and lock step 1 to retrigger)
depth 64

Try changing the slider position of the lfo to trig setting so the lfo follows the trig instead of the track settings, then lock the lfo settings to the first step. I think that will do it, if I’m understanding correctly what you’re asking.

This instruction is for dt1, I’m sure dt2 is similar.

That’s where I’m getting stuck I think. So I PLock the first note to trigger but make the LFO a FRE LFO?

Yep, set the LFO to free and the step locked to retrigger will determine where the cycle starts.

If the LFO is set to retrig it will restart the cycle each trig

Amazing that’s done it! What a relief. I’m learning DT1 seven years too late :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thank you guys. I’m very grateful for the help I get here.
