Hi can anyone help , my Digitakt 2 keeps turning off if I move , thought it was the cable so bought a birdcord , same problem persists . Very annoying

probably the socket in the device maybe send it in for repair
Had the same issue with DT2 socket was a litttle loose (the input on dt2) I sent it to Elektron and it got back after a week, super sturdy now!
Also on my DN 2 it’s a little loose but doesn’t turn off so that’s ok.
That’s the issue 
Make sure to get it fixed …

It’s probably the power connector as already mentioned. It’s a very easy fix if you’re comfortable with a soldering iron. I guess it might void the warranty if you do it yourself though.
Edited to add: I did it on my used og digitakt, and i am fairly comfortable doing stuff like that since it’s part of what I do at work. If you’re not comfortable fixing expensive electronics yourself, I’d recommend sending it in. In any case, mine had a loose joint with barely any solder at the power connector, so it just needed a bit more. Now it works like a charm.

Don’t do it! The device is too valuable to use for soldering practice.
There must be a nerd/pro in your neighborhood who does this kind of thing every day. You just have to find him.

Just reiterating @mfk’s point in the event that you’re on the fence. Soldering just isn’t something that you’ll get right from basic instruction and walkthrough. It’s not like it’s an impossible skill, but it certainly takes a fair amount of practice and trial and error. I look back at the electronics I’ve ruined just in the name of learning the skill (mostly Xbox controllers lol), don’t let that be your Digi.

If it’s your first time soldering you should send it back for repair. It’s an expensive piece of gear and the warranty might be handy in the future.
