Digitakt keeps disconnecting from Mac

Running the latest DT firmware and Overbridge version on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.14 Mojave (it’s an older model, not sure if I can update)

Digitakt keeps disconnecting from the computer, I re-select the DT as Audio Output in Ableton, then a few seconds later it disconnects again.

Getting a little frustrated tbh, has anybody experienced and/or overcome this issue?

Now I’m struggling with Digitakt 1.40 usb disconnect issues.

Similar issue with Digitone. Lots of connecting and disconnecting as Audio and MIDI interface. Thought I’d cracked it when investigating and resetting my MacBook Pro (2015) System Management Controllers (Google for your machine) - didn’t sort my Digitone but could help you. I have an unresolved ticket with Elektron support.

If you haven’t already then maybe worth submitting a support ticket. If there’s a few people affected then all the more likely they’ll investigate!

Maybe for @Zbieracky but everything is fine on my M1 Mac Mini, it’s the older intel Macbook that is freaking out and it’s that which I’d hope to take out for live shows, use the DN as interface etc…

I need to check what you advised. Just didn’t had time and wanted to touch anything before the show I had yesterday. I need some time to check, maybe I will manage during weekend.
And yes if it will not solve the issue I will raise the ticket on Elektron support.

It’s quite old Intel I guess early 2015

Nope. I checked with multiple ones. And Digitone works fine on the same cable and I’ve tired on daughter windows PC and works fine too. So definitely not a cable.

Mine is mid/late 2015 so might be the key to these issues…similar model

As I already mentioned, that obvious so it was first thing I’ve check on multiple cables and this all cables works fine with Digitone on Mac and for both DT and DN on windows. So for me seems like driver issue. I will try SMC advice from yokermoon and will let you know.

@yokermoon you man! You saved me!
SMC Reset fully solved my issue. Now my DigiTakt usb connection is stable as hell.

Next step will be to try finally new firmware with all those extra goodies
Only what is stopping me is elk-herd compatibility, elk-herd is so fantastic but new features are like magnets

Once again thank you @yokermoon for help but as well to all others guys working meanwhile on alternative solution ideas
