Digitakt-independent microphone when using overbridge?

I have a setup with a DT that i’m using with Ableton via Overbridge. it works great.
since i have to use the DT as my Audio Interface, i can no longer use my designated Interface from before to connect my microphone to Ableton Live.
Now, before i go out buying some cables: can i plug my microphone (which has a pre-amp-battery) into the left or right audio input of my DT, in order to connect it to Ableton?

If this wouldn’t work, what options do i have to add my microphone to the DAW?

You’re not using Overbridge properly.

To get audio from DT you need to get it from the VST plugin (Digitakt). You can then keep your main interface as primary.

actually, i’m using the VST, OB works great.

ok., didn’t know i could still use my old AI.

Yeah that’s one of the big things about OB is that it frees up your audio interface for other duties. Keep it set as your interface in Live and then just use internal routing from OB VST plugin to other tracks.

ok. thanks. i will try this as soon as i can get another USB cable.
