Digitakt II + Retrokits RK-002

Since Digitakt 2 now has per-track macros for pitchbend, aftertouch etc., I’m curious:

  1. how RK-002 responds to incoming pitchbend & aftertouch messages from midi keyboard? Will it send forward the same amount to all set tracks (8 tracks max, I suppose)?
  2. are track macros attached to the preset (ex sound) and can be saved/copied over to another track?

RK002 converts poly aftertouch to channel aftertouch. :content:
I didn’t test pitchbend but I guess it is also dispatched on the 8 channels.

Yes, possible to copy/paste modulations, or the track sound.

Could you provide a walkthrough on setting up your Digitakt mk2 with the Retrokits RK-002 in loopback mode? I’m trying to get it to work without much success because all the walkthroughs I’ve seen are for Digitakt mk1. I want to get it set up with a midi controller eventually but I’ll settle for figuring out loopback mode first.

The script I use is Polymux With AFTERTOUCH Example.

To configurate the script for 8 voices I chose channel 1 as midi source, channel 1-8 for midi poly targets.

On the DT2 a midi track source has to be on channel 1 (midi track SRC page iirc) and 8 audio tracks on channels 1-8.

This should suffice.
