Digitakt II Patch Generator

This is a Digitakt II Patch generator that keeps your factory content in mind. Simply plug in the patch values to get a new sound you can save as a preset in your DIgitakt II. This is a work in progress and absolutely a personal experiment. It will recommend you 3 main OSC types: Single Cycle, Wavetables, and Comb Filters (pitch tracking on and off). To use a comb filter as a synthesizer you must turn pitch tracking to 100% on page 2. To properly use wavetables imo you will want to set the the track to GRID machine, slices 64, and offset the slice position, i.e. do not use KEYBOARD slice select.

Try it here: Modbang - Serving the hardware electronic music community.

This was inspired by a live stream where I did use a few of the patches generated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY5zLfpFzfI&t=6439s

Thanks! It’s been fun using it to get patches started. I am thinking about making one for the DN2 and Syntakt.

Saw the topic and hoped someone had reverse engineered the project format so we could do deep edits to everything via a GUI on a computer.

Getting ‘in the groove’ with the boxes is fantastic but sometimes you want to sit back with a GUI and mouse, or even a script.

For example, unifying certain setting across multiple patterns or tracks rather than having to go copy paste them, or go to each track and set the option.
Needlessly tedious if you are in reality just updating the states of some offsets in a file.

I know Elk-Herd does some settings but I’m thinking more ‘set the velocity curve on every track in every pattern’ with one command.
