Digitakt II - LFO RAMP not in sync?

Hey!

I just tried doing the following thing on the DTII.
I have a pad like sound that is constantly playing in the background. The length of the sequence is 8 steps. I wanted to modulate the bit reduction of the track to ramp up, starting from the first trig on the first step, and reaching its apex on step 32. Is it possible to do that? I want the lfo to start on the first step where also the first trig is placed and stop after 32 steps and then repeat.

My settings:
Speed: 8
Mult: 4
LFO curve: RAMP
TRIG MODE: FREE

With these settings the apex of the ramp is reached before 32 steps.

Any tips?

Thanks in advance!

I think what you need is to lock the LFO start on the first step—a parameter-locked trig with the LFO in SYNC mode just on the first step. Since you want it to pass through 4 times, you can either lock it on 1:4, or just expand the pattern using copy/paste and put the sync lock on the first of 32 trigs.

thanks for the tip! How do I lock the lfo sync? Do you mean trig mode=trig? And what trig mode do i set for the other remaining notes?

That’s right, lock one trig to trig=Sync, the rest to free-running (the first option).
