Hey people! I am trying to understand how the key tracking function works on the Digitakt. Before I bought the DT, I saw this video, and excited to play with the comb filter to come up with melodic tunes.
I read the manual, but I couldn’t find any useful examples.
How do you guys use the key tracking functions? I am trying to set it up with assigning macros, but I am pretty sure I am missing something cause I don’t notice much difference in the sound.

For the comb filter, you just use the Key Tracking on the Filter page and set it to 100 - no need for messing with Mod Setup

Without a Keyboard, Velocity and Key Tracking are the most interesting.
You can make the Filter dependend on the Velocity, for example (less velocity = softer sound).
I think on the Digitakt, Key Tracking is more for ‘creative’, weird things. Here are some ideas:
Keytrack → Sample Start (imagine having a long sample of a note, and the sound changes depending on the note).
Keytrack → SRR, to mimic the behaviour of playing a low samplerate sample.
Keytrack → Tune to -8, to disable pitch tracking (or use other values to get microtonality).
And keytracking LFO speed and depth for crazy fm shenanigans
