idk if this makes sense and maybe i’m out of my depth here but I do think this and a velocity fade esque section for cross fades on werp and stretch would fix a lot of the transient issues in those modes

Has anyone seen this firmware inspection tool. Someone posted it on reddit and was looking into the dt2 and had some interesting insights.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I would love a bar/beat/time count on the sample editor when recording samples so I can easily make proper loops out of longer recordings. I’d also love it if we could edit samples we’ve already made instead of having to re-record them.

You can set the record time for “x” amount of bars. It works great. Or, did you mean something else?
Sometimes I like to capture a longer loop and then pick out certain parts, especially with ambient stuff. Being able to easily edit it to multiples of beats/bars/whatever would be so useful. Also being able to add a tiny fade in/out to remove clicks would be lovely.

How do you envision this working? I mean for the beat and bar count, time is easy enough (and pretty sure it already does time, unless you mean SMPTE timecode).
The recording is done at a particular tempo, so just match it to that.
