If every track held it’s own page loop settings wouldn’t it be really easy to lose track (no pun) of this?
I always thought of page loop a convenience for editing patterns not a performance feature.
Doesn’t feel like a “bug” IMO

Still having this issue in 1.03a
Sample an external source (L/R in) whether I assign to pad or not after end and rename, the sound engine fails and have to restart.
Sounds like the bug that was introduced in 1.03 and fixed in 1.03A. Are you positive you’re on 1.03A ?
I wonder if this applies to you ?
It’s not a bug. I just found it odd. If I were in ‘per pattern’ track length then its current configuration makes sense. However, in ‘per track’ track length, the behavior feels buggy even though it’s not. It would feel more aligned if each track had its own page loop settings when using the latter track length setting.
So, not a bug just feels odd when I only ever use ‘per track’.
When sampling external sources—such as a synthesizer, vinyl, or via USB—the sound still cuts out on the Digitakt II. The only way to fix it is by rebooting the device. Firmware version 1.03A.
I’m so disappointed that this hasn’t been fixed. I sent my Digitakt 1 project over to support TWICE last year, and chased the issue several times. The last response I got was a bit snotty, so I just decided to drop it.
I’ve honestly not turned my DT2 on for a long time now. The bugginess is really ruining my enjoyment of it. If there was another groovebox on the market that had the same kind of feature set, I’d sell the DT2 and get the competitions unit at this point.
Would love if someone could confirm this, I believe this also effects the Digitakt 1. I experienced this years ago, and contacted support about it but never followed up and I just stopped using the LFO for that. But just now messing around with the DT 2, and I found myself replicating the same “bug”:
Forward and reverse looped play mode not behaving as expected when the play mode is being modulated by an LFO.
Maybe a bit vague, happy to elaborate if needed. Cheers
I’ve already reported this, but the Euclidean Sequencer’s switch doesn’t consider the CTRL ALL configuration (ie. all the tracks are activated disregarding those excluded)
Track 1 MIDI Issue in Overbridge Mode
Hi everyone,
I’ve tracked down a MIDI issue with my Digitakt 2 (firmware 1.03A) that only happens in Overbridge mode, and it might be a bug. Here’s the setup:
The issue: When USB is connected and set to OVERBRIDGE mode (SETTINGS > SYSTEM > USB CONFIG), Track 1 responds to all MIDI control messages, regardless of the channel they’re sent on. Tracks 2–16 respond correctly to their assigned channels, but Track 1 reacts to every message (e.g., a pitch bend on Channel 5 affects Track 5 and Track 1). This doesn’t happen in USB MIDI or USB AUDIO/MIDI modes—only in Overbridge.
I’ve tested:
Since INPUT FROM is set to MIDI only, the Digitakt shouldn’t be processing USB MIDI data—yet Overbridge mode still messes with Track 1’s channel filtering. Anyone else seen this in Overbridge mode on 1.03A? Could it be a firmware bug specific to how Overbridge handles MIDI internally?
Thanks for any thoughts!
Reinstalling the 1.3A firmware via Legacy mode solved the issue for me
Hello! I think this is a bug, don’t know if it was already mentioned on this thread, feel free to erase this message in this case.
In grid mode, when i want to erase trigless trigs i have to press twice? if you press once it inputs a trig, even if i clear the p-lock in that trigless trig in inputs a trig.
thanks in advance
if you want to delete a yellow trig, hold down func + tap the yellow trig you want to delete
Often when I use an ext. midi keyboard, I get double triggering of keys, where a note will also play when the key is lifted. And even if I disconnect the midi keyboard and use the DT keyboard it will still do it, until I reboot the device.
Also step recording still sometimes just does not work, but does after reboot.
OK not sure if this is expected, a bug, or I am just losing my mind but…
Created my own preset - XYZ, assigned it to a slot in C### range.
Track 1 - assigned preset XYZ, no edits
Track 3 - assigned preset, made some tweaks in syn/filter pages
I did NOT re-save Track 3 as a new preset, but I DID save the project.
I in fact didn’t even change projects for days, and when I finally did and it asked if I wanted to save before changing - I saved again.
Nonetheless, when I loaded up the project again, Track 1 & Track 3 are identical and just sound like my raw XYZ preset, without the Track 3 specific tweaks.
I can confirm this bug is now fixed!!
@avantronica @LyingDalai is it time to rename and close this thread, and start a new one for post 1.10 bugs ? There’s already one thread started.
This has been repurposed if you look at the op
My Digitakt 2 not loading kits after 1.10 update. No problem with the previous kits though. You can save and load without error, but after loading samples won’t be there. Only the initial samples will be uploaded to the pattern.
Anyone is having the same problem?
Did a quick test, it saved a kit
Pardon me, it can save but won’t load it back. Kits created with previous version is still okay though.
