DIGITAKT: How to enable record by foot switch?

Hey,

i use my Digitakt as a sampler which is triggered by Roland V-Drums.
The problem is it is impossible to press the record button if i play the V-Drums.
Is there a way to connect a Midi Pedal to enter the “quantised record mode”?

Your best bet is to press [FUNC] + [PTN] to access the Metronome Settings. There you can adjust the preroll, so it counts off before beginning to record.
