I hooked up erica to my digitakt elektron and i want to record the sound i make into my computer by transfer with the cable.
But i dont know the settings to make that happen when my elektron is the master.
Can someone help me with this?
Assuming you mean real-time recording into your laptop
Setup wise I would suggest.
Digitakt as midi clock
Drums audio into left input
Bass audio into right input
Use overbridge ( not transfer ) in order to multitrack the audio into your laptop.
Set digitakt to dual mono input
You could use the standalone digitakt app to record too
ye i am using the digitakt app to record it. i also have the midi tru box from erica inbetween so its most about the setting that also makes the erica synth / bassline go into the digitakt app too to record.
plug them in
set to dual mono
turn them up on the ext in mixer
they should come through on the ext in L+R on the standalone app.
if you use any fx on them, they’ll come through the main outputs.
setup usb to overbridge mode. (you might need to return to usb mode if you find that transfer no longer connects).
