So in the anticipation and continual let down waiting for OB I have made a Dashboard to control DT from FL Studio (I have a master Dashboard as well with FX parameters and now i have to add the Compressor, yeh!)
I want to make another that can edit the 8 MIDI tracks and their values but cannot find midi implementation for them anywhere??? I can get notes on external synth to play but cant automate or move things like MW or any CC wheels???
Is there no MIDI implementation for the actual MIDI 1/2 of the DT…that would be hilarious to say the least…
Transport works via FL Studio 12. I got almost every parameter on the DT to move via CC a few months ago. It was kludgy because you have to do it with automation tracks and draw them out. This looks rad though. FLStudio 20 should be out shortly and apparently has much improved midi implementation? That’s what I heard anyways.
sorry it took me a while but i was adding the compressor…2 Versions one for the channel that has your master FX on it (its Big) and then a smaller one for the other 7 channels…
works OK, doesn’t revolutionize the DT the way other dashboards, is NO compensation for OB…but makes one or two things flow easier such as having a piano roll to score…you can have LFOs on anything you see not just one parameter…The Compressor Wet Dry mix doesn’t work yet but that is a bug in the DT and will be fixed in an update… P locks are easier in the DT and conditional trigs still have to be done on the DT, don’t forget to change the MIDI channel and port Number in the wrapper to suit your setup…and enable an input from USB, tick receive notes and receive CC/NRPN in the MIDI Ports Config.
Create a Folder for Each of the Dashboards in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Plugins\Fruity\Generators\Dashboard\Artwork 1 Called digitakt and one called digitakt nofx
Unzip the zip file
Put .ini file into
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Plugins\Fruity\Generators\Dashboard\Artwork
After creating the 2 folders mentioned above.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Data\Patches\Plugin presets\Generators\Dashboard
