Digitakt batter powered concern

I picked up this battery

The issue I’m finding with it is there is a low hum coming from the Digitakt that I only hear when its using this battery pack.

I assume I should not use this specific battery pack because I’m worried the hum is a ground fault buz or something to that effect that would damage the unit :frowning:

Has anyone else noticed a hum when powering via battery pack and if so should you be concerned?

Also is there possibly an official recommended way to power via battery or is there a community preference to a given battery?

Picked up a Omni Charge 20+

This power block is awesome highly recommended it. Easily 2+ hours on a single charge.
Don’t have the buzz issue anymore.

I have one size smaller than this battery of the same brand and it works fine, no hum, powered for 2hrs+
Maybe return it for a new one or downsize?

I was also wondering if it matters that it can pull upto 2amps, assumed it would only pull what it needed

So update to this. First I found that upon posting this the company pulled this product and released an “updated” version. So I assume I’ve just got a faulty block. Gonna find a different use for it. That said because I’ve also picked up a omni charge 20+ and it works great, highly recommend it. It gets hours of time on it when fully charged and that sound I was hearing is gone so I think it was my faulty block.
