Digitakt and traktor kontrol S4

Hey there guys, so i wan too see the best way to run my digitakt with Native Instruments Traktor S4… any suggestions?

You’ll need a usb midi host adapter unless your using mac / pc to connect them together in a daw

And use the controller customising app to change all the encoders / sliders to the correct midi cc you want to change.

I’m unsure if the class compliant audio will go through the mixer on the s4, probably not.

So ive got the Digitakt connected to the mixer and the traktor connected to the mac USB… the issue is since the traktor is running through the USB the Digitakt wont get a signal.
What ports should i use for the midi (traktor and Digitakt)?

You could use the auto channel on digitakt , that way if you change track the encoders will control that track.

I presume you’re only doing midi ( using the controller in midi mode ) ? Or are you trying to do audio too ? Using the actual traktor app ?
