is it just my unit or are the LEDs in the Digitakt 2 darker than for example the ones in the Syntakt? ST LED intensity set to MID is basically the same as DT2 MAX.
I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures but the ST LEDs are way brighter on MAX.

Looks way different. We’d need to compare it to another DT2 to know if this is a common factor between digitakt II’s or if it’s only your unit. I guess that in order to be objective, we’d also need to make sure that your syntakt is not just a particularly bright unit amongst other syntakts as well.
You can see a ton of halo effect around the dt2 screen at max brightness so obviously you have it all the way up, and the gear icon when the syntakt is at max brightness is blindingly bright whereas the dt2 is not. I mean I can tell by the trig lights as well but those points mentioned are less than subtle.

I’ve seen 3-4 digitakts in a row (a couple of my friends own them too) and all of them had a little bit different LED and LCD colours.
Looks like you got one of the California versions, which have less emissions and use less energy.
Yup, same thing on both my DT2 and DN2. At max brightness they are like MID on the Syntakt (and my OT MK2). Definitely dimmer.
