I get what you mean...but decay is not set to infinite! It's just one trig playing a long sample,on a 64 length pattern. and when I clear the parameters from this specific track, without reloading the pattern works ok. So it seems as reload pattern does not do the job with long samples, at least to this occasion!
Mute mode is not remembered after switch off. It always defaults to global mutes.
Func+YES for Previewing newly recorded sample is not working.
Check the active track you're previewing from isn't a MIDI one and isn't muted? That's caught me out a couple times
At this point the sample isn't yet assigned to a track, so mutes should be irrelevant yes?
You need to have an audio track selected though
Wait, so if you don't have an audio track selected before you start sampling you can't preview the sample?
Before/after doesn't matter.. the preview can only play through an audio track. So you won't hear anything if a midi track is selected
You can select an audio track at any time. Just hit trig 1-8 before/during/after sampling.
It's very possible this is my issue, I've been playing with the MIDI sequencer a lot lately. Haven't had a chance to test it yet.
it works if your last selected track is an audio (and not midi) track. So if preview doesn't work just select an audio track, not muted, and then it'll work
Hi Folks, I'm new around around here. Excited to be part of the community. This appears to be the best forum for my question, excuse me if it's not.
When turning on my Digitakt it makes a slight pop/static sound on startup. Is this normal behaviour?
Mine does, cant speak for anyone else but it sounds normal to me.
Yes, mine does this too. Probably nothing to worry about.
mine pops as well - nothing to worry about
Every digital box I have makes little pop through the audio output when I turn it on. I got in the habit of keeping that mixer channel muted until it's booted.
Thank you for the quick responses everyone. Really appreciate the sanity check. Have a good day!
Even though the manual states that pattern chain consists of maximum 64 patterns, I can't get mine playing chains longer than 6-7 patterns. When i try to play a chain of say 14 patterns it "stucks" somewhere around 5th or 6th.
Anyone else having this issue on 1.04?
Still get the odd note hanging in chromatic mode, not a sticky key just buggy note length. Last nights session had the 16 key doing it a few times at one point, reloading the pattern removed the problem.
