Different samples and different rhythms?

Hello, I’m a pretty new Octatrack MkII user and I have a simple question for you. I simply want to have different patterns made up of different samples and different rhythms and be able to switch between them. I need to save it in the studio and have all the patterns ready for a live situation. What is the fastest and the easiest way to do it?

Different samples mean different parts, or sample locks (hold a trig, turn level to choose your sample), or plocked slices (you can make a sliced drum kit).

16 banks, 16 patterns and 4 parts per bank.
Parts let you change default track sample, and make track settings independently.

For the different rhythmes, just use patterns.
For different tempi, use Arranger.

Buy something simpler than OT!

I’d use slices. It saves slots. Check Octachainer (free) or OctaEdit to make non equal length slices.
