Hmmm. . . . I’m afraid I don’t really know what you are asking for.
When I think Freq Chart, I think the relationship of a wide array of instruments (woodwind, stringed, etc.)to a piano or their frequency range from their lowest to highest possible note.
I don’t know how that relates to the RTYM really.
Can you elaborate? I’m sure someone here can help out.

Frequency chart would make sense if all you had was the pitch or frequency of the oscillator, but we have chromatic mode and can actually select the note of the trig, unlike (IIRC) the MD which only has pitch/frequency. And the AR does a pretty good job of staying accurate when played chromatically on the pads or even from an external keyboard.

If you like to go by the numbers it might just be easier to program in chromatic mode – that way you can hold a trig and select the note on the pads for visual feedback.

@newgreyarea : Freq Chart was done on MD to told you the relation between Electron knob number value and its corresponding note (hz) and it’s done for as far as i remember all Kick machines.

@panelist : so you tell you can find a fundamental for you kick osc and then when you switch on chromatic mode it plays the right note on PAD, i’m not sure about that… if your start point is not tuned, you probably not tuned on PADS… but i might be wrong

Just choose a pad you’d like to use as your base note and then adjust the tuning of the machine accordingly. Then you can play the pads chromatically while staying in tune reasonably well.

It doesn’t really makes sense to create a chart for this unless you do it per-machine for a specific combination of parameters for that machine as the (perception of) pitch with these kind of percussive sounds depends not only on the base tuning, but also on the pitch sweep length, depth, etc.

You can use a guitar tuner app or a simple frequency counter app on your phone for this if you don’t trust your ears.
