Thank you! I’m hoping to have a finalized first version soon. They will flat pack and I will offer world wide shipping. Are you looking for multiple stands or one stand to line up multiple devices in a row?
Perhaps I should create a newsletter sign up of some sort for those who’d like to be notified when these are available and the pricing. I’m going to do my best to set the opening price point around $80 USD. Larger stands would go up in price from there, of course.
Thank you very much. I’ll see what I can think of to incorporate for flexibility of different heights and angles. It’s tricky without incorporating metals, plastics and mechanics and with the added constraint of a minimal footprint.
Thanks! It works perfectly for me, but the build is pretty rough-and-ready. I really just cobbled it together. I could take the measurements and post CAD for it if you like.
If you’re looking for a little market research, you could create a poll here, asking questions about what people would want to buy (numbers of units, side-by-side vs. stack, angle, what-if-any controller or gear they would want in front of it for clearances, etc.)
@Nope: I was actually referring to the homemade stand that @davestasiuk posted, sorry it that was confusing. Yours look fantastic, but I like to keep my Elektrons elevated so that I can put effects pedals under them.
@davestasiuk: Thanks, I have no idea what I would use these files for, so probably not worth it …
The first one can be used with low and high angle. Second one got the same low angle.
I tried to measure but not sure if im right, low seems about ~35° and high ~60°
Im standing in front of a table with all units on low angle. this feels very comfortable. Should i switch my setup to use it from a chair i would definitly switch to higher angles.
A stand with 3 walls for 2 units would be nice. Or even expandable with side walls and a middle wall. -> more distance should fit octatrack too?
For anyone who was interested… I’ve finalized the high angle version of the stand for OT, DT, ST, DN, AH, A4MK1, ARMK1. It’s available for sale now on my website.
There will be a low angle, and flat stands coming soon. As well as multi unit stands, analog MK2 stands and more.
Hope some of you find these useful. Let me know what sort of other accessories you want to see next.
