Designing 8-bit like sounds?

Hello there!
I’m tempted to try and synthethize chiptune-like sounds. I don’t know anything about chiptune but I saw and heard some great tunes made with the DN. So my aim would be to come up with, say, 10 sounds (drumkit, lead, bass, etc.) and start composing with it.

Do any of you have links, recommandations, tips, on how to achieve these sounds? I’m eager to find out by myself but I’d appreciate any tips for sure.

There’s some in the preset bank… have a look and reverse engineer them.

That’s a good way of doing it too yes, I’ll check it out!
I really like this track for example, and the sounds are insane on this!
