Delay & Tempo Sync

Hi there,

has anybody got an idea in which way the value of the delay time does correspond to the rhythm? (f.e. 1/8 = 42, 1/4 =21…)

Thank’s a lot!

first line describing delay in manual, 32=1 beat

hmpf, sorry! I admit i have some problems in understandig what is written in the manual:

current BPM in 128th notes - 32 equals of 1 beat

Is it right, that 1 beat = four 1/16 = 1/4 bar = 32/128 (parameter value)

Please excuse me asking such silly questions!

that’s it, max delay time would span one whole page of 16 trigs
time is expressed as fractions, so tempo will always affect the actual time

different math required for arp tempo, but again it’s in pdf

adsr params are not tempo dependent

Here’s a little cheat sheet with regular and dotted notes and their corresponding delay time values. So to get the classic 1/8 dotted delay you set the TIM to 24.

note tim value
1 128
1/2 64
1/4 32
1/8 16
1/16 8
1/32 4
1/64 2
1/128 1

1/2. 96
1/4. 48
1/8. 24
1/16. 12
1/32. 6
1/64. 3

Thank you very much, LarsErik, this is what I was looing for!

Holding function and turning the associated knob jumps to those divisions if I remember correctly
