Delay Freeze & FX Issues

Hey Elektronauts,

First of all I’d like to say to this forum, I’m a guy from Switzerland who uses Elektron machines for about two years now (they are my favourite musical machines I used so far, intuitive, fun to use and great sounding).

I got an issue with my Octatrack a few months back with the Delay Freeze, thought I would get around it with just changing to another project, but unfortunately I was wrong.

It was never a problem as I used simply my Octatrack together with the A4 (with Octatrack as mixer), but as soon as I put all machines together (which means OT, A4, Machinedrum, Monomachine and finally the AR) I wanted to use the Octatrak as FX-machine. To do that I use an Allen & Heath 4D-mixer with the Octatrack connected through the send/return-in- and output.

I thought that the following videos might help to show my problems.

In the first video you’ll see that I switch between patterns with different FX settings I put into the Master Track, but as you can hear the High Pass Filter-effect just stays as it was in the previous pattern, but it’s not even assigned to the actual effects which are in fact Flanger and Delay (0:47-0:49).
The delay freeze works just fine here (1:10).
You can ignore the rest of video, I got a bit lost.

The second video shows the same issue I had some months before and still don’t know why it’s happening. After some time playing around the delay freeze stops after one repeat (0:28). In this example I switched my Monomachine and Machinedrum on. I check the settings all over again at 1:16, but everything seems fine.

Please excuse the low quality/one shaky hand movie shooting I did.
I can’t get over it that it might be just some simple mistake I did somewhere in the settings somewhere, because I have to admit I’m not the most talented person with regards to technical things.

Did somebody experience the same reactons of the Octatrack as I did?
