I just recently turned on my Rytm and it looked like was a crack in the screen. After further investigation it looks like dirt or something that is now stuck Between the plastic and the screen itself. I have no clue how something would get between those two peices. Has this happened to anyone else. Is there a way to fix this, its driving me crazy!
Maybe take the front panel off and clear the debris with a gentle blast of air?
Did you take off the protective film yet? Maybe it’s just that.
There was a similar thread and it ended up being the film. I remember seeing the post and being like “how can someone not know they left the film on there??” and then took a better look at my screen and it still had the protective film on
Its not the film, it was taken off day 1. The debris was not in the screen at all. I turned the machine on a few days ago and noticed it. It looks like a crack turned on since the light hits this little hair like peice of debris. When I turn it off I can see the debris itself and can see its between the plastic in front of the screen and the screen itself.
Hmm… just turned mine on and I too have a crack or hair or wire or something appeared behind the screen at the top . Definately not the plastic screen. Annoying!
Yes mine is like a brown color. I am getting the courage up to take the front place off and get it out of there but I don’t like taking new things I paid 1500 dollars for apart.
I too have a hair in my AR.
Who are these hairy mutherf*ckers assembling my boxes?!
I’m guessing there is a gap between the backlight and display, and that any hairs or dirt that get sucked into the vents or ports make a beeline for this gap. There must be a way to blow em out?
it happened a couple of times with other machines as well, perhaps it has to do with electrostatics…i can’t think of any other ways for such tiny things to make it on their own, right below the screen … best way of getting rid of it is to just open the box and clean things up, it won’t probably go away on its own
Is there any diy guide to do this?
Nanomachines
One night a gnat is coming under the screen of my A4 :’( he is staying 4 hours walking in the lcd square, I thought he was going to die here just on a drawing of parametre, then suddenly it has to find an exit 0_0 it must always be in the machine x) but at least it is no longer in the screen !
