Dealing with accidental mono recorded stereo? + happy accident

Last night I was using a nice mono textural sample that I had accidentally recorded as stereo, therefor it was panned hard left. I expected there to be a fix for this in the sample editor, but if there was, I couldn’t find it. Did anyone know of a way to convert a sample from stereo to mono, without resorting to editing the sample on an external device/computer?

However, as a workaround which actually yeilded interesting results, I set the delay on the track to pingpong and reduced the time to 1. However, this meant i could fiddle with the time setting and get an interesting stereo delay separation effect.

Now that I write this, I realize I could have probably re-recorded the sample by running cue into an input. still though… ._.

Another way to fix this on-the-fly is using the Spatializer, turning on M/S in the settings, and zeroing SG. Instant mono.

But yeah, the CUE resample is the way to go.

In the audio editor, manual p. 102.

Seems I can’t attach a picture but you want to add mix the channels.
