So to resist the Digitone temptations and spending money I don’t have over at Rubadub I decided to have some fun on my Octatrack.
Decided to sample the first “soul music” track Google chucked at me - “Dance With Me” by The Drifters. A pretty good tune by the way. Using only that I came up with this:
By no means anything fancy, just a bit of fun, but I never share shit round these parts (or anywhere these days). Included the original sample at the start for reference. Nothing more than just slicing and dicing. Pretty rough around the edges, a little repetitive, and barely tapped into the OT but fuck it, time I shared something. Enjoy if you can.
