I noticed that I have to change the Pitch V/oct setting depending which oscillator (Braids or Atlantis) I use which is a bit annoying. I haven’t done any calibration to my oscillators yet but was thinking that maybe it’s time.
I was wondering that how is the calibration of your eurorack oscillators?
Are you saying that the tracking is different or that the octaves/tuning are different?
If its tracking, if the Atlantis tracks correctly to the 1v/oct from the AK ( you can set this in the CV setup for that output), then you can recalibrate the Braids from the menus.
Likewise if the Braids is tuned or octaved different to the atlantis you can recalibrate the Braids so that its centre point on the tune and fine matches the required note.
The tracking is different.
At the moment with these settings Atlantis tracks completely fine
C5 0.009 V
C8 3.038 V
but I need to change them to
C5 0.005 V
C8 3.024 V
if I want Braids to track well too.
It doesn’t matter all the time but sometimes when I stack the Braids and Clouds I can clearly hear that the other oscillator is out of tune on certain notes depending on the setting I have on AK.
Was just wondering has anybody else had the same situation.
Based on those settings, i’d probably re-calibrate the atlantis.
As the Braids looks tighter, if you can get a voltmeter on the output of the Elektron, you could get an exact 0v to 3v and recalibrate both.
I find my osc are pretty sound on the standard 0v 3v from the AK, the Z3000 and Braids track the best but my Rubicon could do with re-calibrating slightly. Better to fix it there though than change it at the AKs end.
Yeah I think I should buy a multimeter and get everything checked properly.
The Atlantis definitely needs some calibration because when using the octave range switch the tuning goes really off.
I have contacted Intelliel and waiting for an answer regarding the problem.
