CV Pitch Bend not working as expected

I’m sending MIDI notes and pitch bend CC to my A4 from Ableton Live. When I send to a built-in synth channel, it works as expected, the notes are fine and pitch bend works as supposed to.

However, when sending to a CV channel, pitch bend CC does nothing. When I turn up the BND value on the CV configuration page in the A4, the pitch bend still has no effect.

How can I get pitch bend from MIDI CC messages to change the CV out pitch as expected?

According to Elektron support, the Analog Four and Analog Keys do not support CV pitch bend. It turns out that the “BND” parameter is the depth of pitch modulation from the note-on envelope. Disappointing and a little bit misleading labeling imo.
