Has anyone done the math/measurement on what frequencies the filter FREQ values map to?
0 and 100 are pretty intuitive, but the values inbetween are not. In math terms, is the mapping linear or logarithmic?
Additionally, with filter tracking set to 100, a freq value of 50 seems to put the cutoff at the current note frequency. Is the filter track a linear interpolation between the tracked note and the base FREQ? Has anyone done the measurements and can clarify?
You could work this out yourself, run a signal into the filter (pretty sure the digi filter does not self oscillate)
Plug that signal into any kind of spectrum analyser, crank the resonance and sweep the filter, look at the peak and measure it.
Ive no idea personally. Dont own a digitakt anymore. Though I did do the same thing for the OT filter, 70 = 500hz roughly. Which is all I wanted to know. As for the maths, fuck knows.
