Hi if thereā€™s any fans of hip hop this might be up you alley, Headphones or monitors recommended.

This is a snippet from a current project Iā€™m working on. Its all being produced on hardware and sometimes multitracked sometimes stereo tracked. This in particular was made an recorded with a ST, and DTK, running through OT recording the main output. There is some drunken mixing so apologies about some mud. Any feedback is always welcome, have a nice day!

I records vox in ableton. I have thought about playing live with vocal through ovtatrack but the main issues is I want to have more control over the voice separate from the beats mix, besides losing some track space on ovtatrack.

I also imagine needing a d/I box or a mixer first to get the healthy signal before hitting octa, a brotha doesnā€™t want to lug around so much tech :joy:.

First time that I enjoy using the SP404 MKII, itā€™s about time! Using it as a beat making / writing tool, rather than an instrument to jam on (which is how I approach Elektron boxes) made it finally click for me. Happy me :blush:
