regarding the track, it took 3 patterns 256l, each with its own part, a touch of internal resampling to free up some tracks on 2nd and 3rd parts respectively, everything else is identical between them. short empty patterns used for transitions (to let tails go through and/or add some FX). end up filling it up in arranger since i started to get lost in the scenes, so used is as a notebook as well.
samples-wise, i’ve been piling my octa with every *.wav imaginable i could scrap. every frozen ableton track ever, all the random synth recordings, some stuff from renoise, you got it. at some point i had to buy a 64g card. a lot of 'em (samples) are crap though, but still a lot to (re-)explore
