Analog Four/Rytm/Heat II and some tape
the mood
Playing around with my guitar this morning
Rytm, Guitar, Vocals
if that is the case, the Jomox Alpahabase or if you want just kick drum the eurorack Jomox bass drum module is great and I have that as well. Another option is to buy the Jomox MBase 11 bass drum desktop module that is stand alone.
The other option IS the drumlogue, i think It has a nice Kick
programming it can be a nightmare tho. Just get the bass jomox kick drum either in eurorack or desktop format and call it a day ![]()
Haha but i dont have any perc module right nowā¦i just sold the jomox mk2 It was sick but i need money and i want more soundsā¦drumlogue has nice sounds Kick and FX and IS littleā¦
Im also looking for an used analog rytm mk1 It seems sick and if its for 400⬠Iāll get It, if not Iāll try the drumlogue i think, for Kick hats snare toms cymbals and claps and some stereo FX i dont need more
In terms of the kick, between deconstruct and drumlogue IS a Big difference right?
I have not actually played a Korg Drumlogue in person just demos and they sound so-so to my ears. Of the many drum synths I have played and owned, the Jomox and Hexdrums kick seem to hit the hardest. But what really makes any kick fat is compression, EQ and distortion. I took my first drum machine that I still own a dirt cheap Korg Volca beats and hooked it up to my Elektron Analog Heat and it became massive sounding. Food for thought if you are on budget, free software plugins work as well.
Iāll wait a little longer and keep looking for a good-priced EMX-1 or Analog Rytm MKI. If I donāt find one, Iāll go for the Drumlogue because I really like the kick, and the FX also seem very nice.
The Deconstruct sounds too digital for me, and I donāt really like that. It reminds me of the Model:Cycles. If it had individual outputs, I would probably get one, but unfortunately it doesnāt.
Thanks a lot for your time! Ill tell you my final choice!
Wuh jammin
Brother bought a Music Man StingRay and put a bass groove on this loop I had previously worked up:
Multi/Poly Native Custom Kit, Four on the Floor sequence using HY-Seqcollection2. Experimenting with mod wheel, keyboard mapping, transposition + octave MIDI effects. 120 BPM.
something downtempo/lo-fi
Nice vibe.
Great stuff Lamped, your wife? is like ātake out trash once you are done jamming ok?ā ![]()
